Curriculum Overview

Eight modules. One capstone. A leadership playbook you can use Monday.

Each module builds on the one before it. By graduation you will have produced your own organization's HAIL-ETHIC leadership playbook, scored against the same standards used to design licensing instruments in regulated professions. The high-level shape is below. The depth is reserved for enrolled learners.

The modules

0
Orientation
Calibrate your starting position. Establish the governance vocabulary, locate your organization on the maturity curve, and set the standards your final playbook will be measured against.
1
Foundations of Ethical AI Leadership
Install the ethical floor. Fairness, accountability, safety, transparency. The four FAST pillars applied to the decisions executives actually have to make, with the executive-level questions for each.
2
Sustainable AI Infrastructure
Engineer for the long horizon. Compute footprint, energy costs, vendor sustainability claims, and the carbon trade-offs that increasingly land in board materials whether leaders are ready for them or not.
3
Governance & Accountability
Build the spine. Roles, escalation paths, model lifecycle ownership, and the documentation discipline that turns an AI program from a science project into governable infrastructure.
4
Orchestration & Strategy
Align the organization. Multi-team initiatives, vendor strategy, build-versus-buy criteria, and the executive choreography that lets an AI program survive a reorganization.
5
Human Impact & Social Responsibility
Look outward. Impact assessment for affected populations, feedback infrastructure, and the practices that keep AI deployments accountable to the people they touch, not just the people who deploy them.
6
Leadership in the Age of AI
The role itself. How AI changes what executive leadership looks like, what board oversight requires, and how to carry the program without becoming its single point of failure.
7
Capstone: HAIL-ETHIC Diagnostic & Leadership Playbook
Synthesize. Produce a leadership playbook for your organization, scored against the same HAIL-ETHIC structure that runs through every module before it. Graduation requires evidence the framework lives in your hands, not just on your laptop.

Modules unlock sequentially with a 24-hour cooldown between them. The cooldown is deliberate. The work requires absorption time, not speed-running.

What you take with you

A working competency in the HAIL methodology, an artifact you can show your board (the capstone playbook), and access to the eight standalone governance tools for a year after graduation. Subscribers retain access indefinitely.
