Cookies Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-23
HAIL Framework uses the minimum number of cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember a small number of preferences. We do not run analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies.
1. Essential cookies
These are necessary for the service to function. Without them you cannot sign in.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
hail_session |
Your signed-in session. A signed JWT, set as HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite. Cannot be read by JavaScript. | 7 days |
2. Preference storage (localStorage)
We use a small number of browser localStorage entries to remember your in-product choices. These are not cookies and never leave your device.
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
hail_tools_consent_ack |
Records the ISO timestamp at which you dismissed the "your tool results are saved" notice, so we do not show it to you again. | Until you clear it or until it is superseded by a new notice. |
3. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising
HAIL Framework does not use Google Analytics on authenticated pages, does not embed third-party advertising pixels, and does not share data with advertising networks. The landing page may load the Google Fonts stylesheet for typography only.
4. Third-party cookies
When you proceed to checkout, you are redirected to Stripe on its own domain. Stripe sets cookies under its own policy while you are there, to process your payment and detect fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy for details. These cookies are not set by HAIL Framework and cannot be read by us.
5. Your controls
Your browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies at any time. Clearing or blocking the hail_session cookie will sign you out of HAIL Framework. You can also log out from your Account page, which invalidates the session server-side on the next request.
